In order to ensure that individuals who couldn't sit in the auditorium could still enjoy our president Fred Koerschner's presentation, and Dr. Feldman's talk, we were able to live-stream the evening's events. Topics will cover making your land attractive to wildlife, options for forest management, wild edibles you can find on your land, and resources available for woodland landowners. Sessions are presented by forestry and natural resource experts. This workshop series is hosted in partnership with University of Wisconsin-Extension, My Lake Superior Northwoods, and the Chequamegon Bay Area Partnership.

The nature preserve lands are open to the public for hiking, skiing, berry-picking and hunting. MIWP is committed to education and advocacy — each summer we sponsor field trips and evening programs. Madeline Island is adjacent to the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore on the South Shore of Lake Superior in Wisconsin.
